Se utilizó en la conversión de ácidos carboxílicos aromáticos en ésteres metílicos y en la reducción a los alcoholes primarios correspondientes utilizando un sistema de borohidruro de sodio-THF-metanol
Solubilidad
Soluble en 95 % de etanol (50 mg/ml), agua (2 mg/ml a 25 °C) y metanol.
Notas
Mantener el recipiente bien sellado. Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco y en recipientes bien sellados. Incompatible con bases y agentes oxidantes.
