Description

It is used in most dairy flavors to add greater depth. This ketone will add lingering rich after-notes, to many processed dairy products such as custard, melted butter, creams and cheeses (Brie, Gorgonzola and blue cheeses). Also beneficial in fatty nut applications (brazil and pine nuts, cashews). It is also used to produce Heptan-2-one.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.

Aplicaciones
Se utiliza en la mayoría de los sabores lácteos para añadir mayor profundidad. Esta cetona añadirá abundantes notas posteriores a muchos productos lácteos procesados, como natillas, mantequilla derretida, cremas y quesos (brie, gorgonzola y quesos azules). También es beneficioso en aplicaciones de frutos secos grasos (nuez de Brasil, piñones y anacardos). También se utiliza para producir heptan-2-ona.
