3-Bromophenol acts as an enzyme inhibitor. It is used in the preparation of 3-bromophenyl ester by reaction with benzoyl chloride in presence of triethylamine as a catalyst. It plays an important role as an intermediate in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and dyestuff and in organic synthesis.

Aplicaciones
El 3-bromofenol actúa como inhibidor enzimático. Se utiliza en la preparación de éster de 3-bromofenilo por reacción con cloruro de benzoílo en presencia de trietilamina como catalizador. Desempeña un papel importante como intermediario en la fabricación de productos farmacéuticos, productos agroquímicos y colorantes y en la síntesis orgánica.

Solubilidad
