3,5-Dimethoxybenzylamine was used in the preparation of trisammonium tris(hexafluoro phosphate) salt.  It was also used in the synthesis of well defined, homogeneous [n]rotaxanes (n up to 11) by a template-directed thermodynamic clipping approach.

Aplicaciones
La 3,5-dimetoxibencilamina se utilizó en la preparación de la sal de tris(fosfato de hexafluoro). También se usó en la síntesis de [n]rotaxanos homogéneos bien definidos (n hasta 11) mediante un método de recorte termodinámico dirigido por plantillas.
