2-n-Butylthiophene is an inhibitor of DMH-induced aberrant crypt formation. It is used as a Glutathione S-transferase inducer. It is used as a primary and secondary intermediate.

Aplicaciones
El 2-n-butiltiofeno es un inhibidor de la formación anómala de criptas inducida por DMH. Se utiliza como inductor de glutatión S-transferasa. Inhibe la oncogénesis in vivo. Se utiliza como intermediario primario y secundario.

Solubilidad
Soluble en acetona y DMSO.
