Description

Acetanilide is used as an inhibitor of peroxides and stabilizer for cellulose ester varnishes. It is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of rubber accelerators, dyes and dye intermediate and camphor. It is used as a precursor in penicillin synthesis and other pharmaceuticals including painkillers and intermediates.

Aplicaciones
La acetanilida se utiliza como inhibidor de peróxidos y estabilizador para barnices de éster de celulosa. Se utiliza como intermediario para la síntesis de aceleradores de goma, colorantes, intermedios de colorantes y alcanfor. También es precursor en la síntesis de penicilina y otros productos farmacéuticos, incluidos analgésicos e intermediarios. 

Solubilidad
Ligeramente soluble en acetona, cloroformo, tolueno y benceno.
