2-Aminobenzamide is used as an acetyldehyde scavenger in PET bottles. It is also used as an intermediate for ag chemicals, dyes, pharmaceuticals, blowing agents, and fine organic chemicals. In lubricating oils for supersonic jet engines, inhibits copper and magnesium corrosion.

Aplicaciones
La 2-aminobenzamida se utiliza como eliminador de acetilaldehído en frascos de PET. También se utiliza como intermediario para productos químicos de ag, colorantes, productos farmacéuticos, agentes de expansión y productos químicos orgánicos finos. En aceites lubricantes para motores de chorro supersónico, inhibe la corrosión del cobre y el magnesio.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua caliente y alcohol. Ligeramente soluble en éter y benceno. Muy soluble en acetato de etilo.
