Descripción

2,3-Dimethylmaleic anhydride acts as a reagent in the preparation of maleimides. It is also employed as an amino group protecting agent for superoxide dismutase. Further, it serves as a reactant in the dissociation of ribosomal proteins. In addition to this, it is used in the preparation of dimethylmaleic acid dimethyl ester.

Aplicaciones
El anhídrido 2,3-dimetilmaleico actúa como reactivo en la preparación de maleimidas. También se emplea como un grupo amino que protege el agente de la superóxido dismutasa. Asimismo, sirve como reactivo en la disociación de proteínas ribosómicas. Además de esto, se utiliza en la preparación de éster dimetílico del ácido dimetilmaleico.

Solubilidad
