1-Thionaphthol is used to produce the di-[1]naphthyl disulfide. It is also used in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and dyestuff.

Solubilidad
Soluble en éter dietílico y etanol. Ligeramente soluble en agua y álcalis diluidos.
