Descripción
Multi-drug resistance(MDR) associated p-glycoprotein (p170) causes resistance to various drugs in a number of cancer patients. It exists in a soluble and membrane associated form. Soluble P-glycoprotein is detected in extracellular fluids of cancer patients, such as malignant ascites and serum. The Mr of soluble P-glycoprotein is the same as that of membrane bound P-glycoprotein.Host Species: Mouse
Clone: F4
Isotype: IgG1
Species Reactivity: Human, Chinese Hamster. Does not react with mouse. Others not known.
Epitope: Extracellular amino terminal half. This epitope is resistant to formalin fixation and periodate oxidation and is different from those of other commonly known MAbs to p-glycoprotein, such as C219, JSB-1, and MRK16, which recognize an intracellular and extracellular epitope of p-glycoprotein, respectively.
Immunogen: Human and hamster drug-resistant viable cells followed by crude plasma membranes
Molecular Weight: 170kDa
Positive Control: Drug-resistant cells, Kidney or breast CA
Cellular Localization: Membrane
Recommended for:
- Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin)
- Western Blotting
- Immunofluorescence
- Flow Cytometry (Fixed cells only)
