BDNF Recombinant Protein, RP-10917, from Invitrogen.
RP-10917 contains recombinant human BDNF protein suitable for use as a control in ELISA and Western blot applications. RP-10917 is reported to have the additional biological activity: ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent induction of acetylcholine esterase in rat basal forebrain primary septal culture is 50ng/ml. Upon reconstitution, store at 4ºC for 2-7 days or aliquot and store at -20ºC. For long term storage add either HSA or BSA to 0.1%. Avoid repeat freeze/thaw cycles.
