Descripción

It is used as an intermediate in the preparation of 2.5-Dimethyl-2.5-bis(tertbutyl-peroxy)hexane to produce polyethylene copolymers and polyethylene rubbers. It is also used in the synthesis of six- and seven-membered heterocyclic boron compounds containing intramolecular N-B bond.

Aplicaciones
Se utiliza como intermedio en la preparación de 2,5-Dimetil-2,5-bis(terc-butil-peroxi)hexano para la producción de copolímeros de polietileno y cauchos de polietileno. También se utiliza en la síntesis de compuestos de boro heterocíclicos de seis y siete miembros que contienen enlace N-B intramolecular.
