Descripción

Indicator for complexometric titration of Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba. It is used as an alkaline earth metal ion indicator. Suggested to be colorless at pH 11, but turns pink in the presence of alkaline earth metals. Also utilized in an auto analyzer to determine serum calcium.

Aplicaciones
Indicador de valoración complexométrica de Mg, CA, Sr y Ba. Se utiliza como indicador de iones de metal alcalinotérreo. Aunque suele ser incoloro cuando tiene pH 11, se vuelve rosa en presencia de metales alcalinostérreos. También se utiliza en autoanalizadores para determinar el calcio sérico.

Solubilidad
Soluble en NaOH (50 mg/ml), amoníaco acuoso y disolventes orgánicos. Insoluble en agua.

Notas
Almacenar alejado de agentes oxidantes fuertes. Mantener el recipiente herméticamente cerrado. Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco y en recipientes bien sellados.
